Yokub, 29, originally from Uzbekistan, arrived in France in 2018. Arriving alone as a refugee was not easy. While waiting for his administrative documents, he worked as a volunteer for four years, but the lack of prospects weighed on him.
It is thanks to DUO for a JOB and his mentor, Stéphane, that his situation has changed. With her support, Yokub trained as a life assistant and validated her diploma. For 6 months, Stéphane listened to him, understood him, and gave him the confidence he needed to move forward. He describes him as a beautiful person who transformed his journey.
