A project with a strong social impact
By joining DUO for a JOB, mentors and mentees build a relationship based on mutual trust. Through this long-term connection, they gain insight into each other’s realities, uncover shared values, and cultivate empathy and understanding. These powerful interactions foster a more just, united, and inclusive society.
What is it?
DUO for a JOB is a 6-month intergenerational mentoring program that promotes the socio-professional integration of young people with an immigration background while valuing the expertise and experience of people aged 50+.
For whom?
Young people aged 18 to 33 with an immigration background who face specific challenges in the labor market, and seniors nearing the end of their careers or retirees seeking a meaningful and enriching volunteer experience.
How do we act?
By matching duos based on various criteria (industry, availability, personality, etc.) and providing a professional and supportive environment, we foster strong relationships of trust and help each participant achieve their goals.
