Not finding a job at the end of six months is not necessarily negative! One mentee out of three is still looking for a job at the end of the coaching, but only one out of four mentees 12 months later.

‍

In addition, it is interesting to note that a large majority of duos remain in contact after the 6 months that their duo lasts; the link being created, many meetings are therefore maintained and active research continues outside the association.

‍

πŸ’‘ The objective is for you to become independent in your job search and to have a better idea of your professional desires and your skills.

From a couple of days to a couple of weeks !

We don't aim for a specific level of study. 50% of our mentees have a bachelor, master or even PhD diploma, the other half general secondary, primary level or no diploma. Our mentors are trained to make sure they start with the mentee from where he/she stands :)

‍

Is there a minimum level of education ?

Not true!

A large part of our mentees have a higher education diploma. When looking for a job, a diploma is not everything, your mentor can help you better understand the codes of the sector, share his experience with you, help you build a network, etc.

I have a master's degree, I certainly don't have the profile of young people supported by DUO for a JOB...

Our mentoring program is addressed to all young people of foreign origin, that is to say all young people who have a foreign nationality (outside the European Union), but also all young people who were born here but with a parent or grandparent born abroad (outside the EU). Why? Having a foreign origin is a brake on the job market, no matter the level of education, it is statistically proven.

Our action is therefore aimed at restoring equal opportunities for all.
